DESDE LLANES:
Viniendo de Llanes por la A8 debe tomarse la salida de Posada, a unos
8km de Llanes. Deben seguirse las señales hacia Posada y girar a la
izquierda hacia su calle principal, hasta cruzar toda la ciudad. El
siguiente pueblo al que se llega es Turanzas, a menos de 1km de Posada,
y aproximadamente 1km después se llega a Rales. Se atraviesa Rales y se
sigue por la misma carretera durante unos 4km hasta llegar a Los
Carriles. Se deja la iglesia a la derecha y se continua unos 500m hasta
encontrar un grupo de casas, una de ellas con un cartel que pone
“Corral de Arriba”. Nuestra casa está unos 50m más adelante, a la
izquierda, haciendo chaflan y a su espalda según se baja por la
carretera.

The two nearest airports are Asturias (Oviedo) airport and Santander, both about an hour's drive away. From London Stanstead, Easyjet flies to Asturias daily and Ryanair flies to Santander a few times a week. Asturias airport is 130km away, about 1hr 15 min by motorway. Santander is 100km away, just over an hour and mostly motorway. Bilbao airport has Easyjet flights from Stanstead daily and AerLingus flies from Dublin direct (March-October). LOCAL DIRECTIONS FROM LLANES DIRECTION: Coming from the direction of Llanes, along the A8 motorway , look for the exit for Posada about 8km from Llanes. Follow the Posada signs and turn left into main street of Posada and exit the town. The next village you come to is Turanzas less than 1km outside of Posada, and after another 1km you will see the village of Rales on your right. Go through Rales and continue on the road for another 4km and you will arrive in Los Carriles. When you enter Los Carriles, you will see the church on your right hand side. Continue on for about half a kilometre until you see a group of houses and you will notice a sign for Corral d'Arriba. Our house is about 50m beyond that as the road opens a little. Park there and look behind and you will see our blue house. FROM GIJÓN/OVIEDO DIRECTION: Coming along the A8 motorway, you will see sign for Ribadesella. About 10 km after that you will see an exit marked Nueva/Ovio/Cardoso. Take that one and proceed in the direction of Nueva. You will see Nueva on your left hand side but there is no need to enter. Continue along the road for about 1km and you will see a sign on your right for Los Carriles. Take that and after 4km you will arrive in the village. When you enter Los Carriles, you will see the church on your right hand side. Continue on for about half a kilometre until you see a group of houses and you will notice a sign for 'Corral d'Arriba'.
